Since 1976, the American Cancer Society has hosted the Great American Smokeout as an event to promote nationwide awareness of the health risks connected to smoking and to encourage people to begin their journey's toward quitting. ÃÛÌÒAPP will join organizations across the country in supporting the ongoing efforts undertaken to make this a healthier society. Visit with representatives from the Health Center in the ÃÛÌÒAPP Diner on November 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for snacks and to learn more about the Great American Smokeout and the effects of the .
