Message from the President

Dr. Laurie Joyner

Our community has joined together in impressive ways to address the rapid changes brought forth by the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. We have accepted this call to action by successfully transitioning to a remote learning environment, thanks to the tireless coordination of our stellar students, faculty and staff, and continue to uphold our core tenets of academic rigor and service excellence.

I am amazed by the compassion and creativity on display and grateful for the willingness of all of our community members to keep ÃÛÌÒAPP thriving in a time of uncertainty. We will rise above this challenge as a Mercy-driven, action-oriented community of doers, as we have done over our 174-year history.

As you will see in the highlights below, the work never stops. We are committed to our Mercy mission and serving our community. No matter the challenge at hand -- we care. We are here.

We are ÃÛÌÒAPP.

Warm regards,

Laurie M. Joyner, Ph.D.
President
