As part of the ÃÛÌÒAPP family, I am pleased for this opportunity to
stay engaged with you through our new Mercy Matters e-newsletter. This quarterly "Good
News" newsletter is designed to share with you all of the wonderful news and happenings
involving our campus by spotlighting our accomplishments, innovative initiatives and
transformative stories that illustrate how we're livingÌýin our Mercy mission.
There's so much that makes ÃÛÌÒAPP a unique and welcoming campus.

ÃÛÌÒAPP students continue living Mercy in Spring Break service trips
|
Over the 2018 Spring Break several ÃÛÌÒAPP (ÃÛÌÒAPP) students took part
in service trips. These trips took them to new places in order to engage in team building
activities that fueled their acts of service and desires to give back to the community.
Planning for 2019 Spring Break service trips are already underway. .

ÃÛÌÒAPP's School of Nursing opens clinic at Saint John Fisher School through partnership
|
Each new calendar year brings new adventures, and for ÃÛÌÒAPP's (ÃÛÌÒAPP)
School of Nursing (SON), that adventure lies just a few blocks down the road at Saint
John Fisher School (SJF). This spring semester ÃÛÌÒAPP's SON and SJF have teamed up to
create an operating clinic, where Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) students and faculty
can serve their fellow community members. .

ÃÛÌÒAPP's Graham Peck is 2018 Lincoln Prize Finalist
|
Gettysburg College and the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History last month
announced the finalists for the 2018 Gilder Lehrman Lincoln Prize, including Saint
Xavier University's (ÃÛÌÒAPP) History Department Professor Graham Peck, Ph.D. Dr. Peck
was recognized for his book entitled, "Making an Antislavery Nation" published through
the University of Illinois Press. .

Five new school records set at CCAC Championships

|
|
|
A total of five school records were broken, and one Cougar punched their ticket to
the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend, as Saint Xavier competed
in the 2018 CCAC Championships. .

ÃÛÌÒAPP hosts 22nd Annual Golf Classic

|
|
|
ÃÛÌÒAPP (ÃÛÌÒAPP) will host its 22nd Annual Golf Classic on Tuesday, August 7 at Silver Lake Country Club, 14700 South 82nd Avenue in Orland Park. Participants
will enjoy breakfast, a full round of golf, lunch, reception and dinner. .
